The initiation into this new role involves an intense six to eight-week leadership training program, which Steve, the founder of Khaki Consulting, experienced firsthand while deployed on the USS San Antonio. The demands of this training are unparalleled, requiring availability around the clock, truly embodying the concept of 24/7 dedication.

Throughout his naval career, Steve, a seasoned and respected Chief, guided many newly selected Chiefs through this transformative process.
